Well it's the 21st century would this raise an eyebrow ? do you ever dance for your mates ?. Lets say you were having a few cans watching a match with a mate and turned on MTV and a good tune came on, could you ever see yourself dancing for your mate, not a lapdance now, just showing him a few moves maybe cheering him up if his team lost ?

The situation never arises really. MTV in the 21st century is a reality TV channel.

    Eh what?

Unless it was an "In your face" type of dance, that would last approximately 5 seconds then no.

If a mate ever danced for me to "cheer me up" he'd get a swift kick in the arse.

Whatever about the dancing, when the fup would that ever happen?

And I know guys who dance together. It does raise my eyebrows but generally in a warm fuzzy way

Any lad who danced at me to cheer me up definitely doesn't know me enough to be classed as a mate...

By and large the terms "MTV" and "good tune" are mutually exclusive.

    Also, i just do POI.

I only dance when the beat cannot be denied.

In fairness though, there was an occasion where myself and the lads danced around one of the lads' nanny's sitting room in our jocks but there was drink and narcotics involved.
I've felt closer to them ever since.

I would only dance if John McClane was pointing a gun at me and told me to.

Picture that scene, minus trousers plus a padre pio picture and you're pretty close. There's nothing like being on drugs under the friendly gaze of Padre Pio.

There are so many things wrong with the above.

    Em - wtf???

I don't think that would cheer anyone up. It'd put them in a bad mood and most probably, missiles would be fired.

Sorry but all that comes to mind is this -

This post is as Gay as Elton John.

If my mate jumped up and started to dance for be because my team lost, a good kick in the goolies would be sufficient with a sit the fook down my friend!

Go on away with yourself now! Craziness I tells ya!

American Dad actually, the (inbred) brain-child of Family Guy creator: "I-forget-his-name".

Though anyone could be forgiven for mixing up the newer versions of Family Guy for this as they're both crap.

    screw the match

*flips on MTV and strips off*

    Who wants a dance?

I remember about seven ears ago, my American cousin was over, and was shocked that MTV actually played music.
    I thought it was amusing.
Since then I've watched the rise of one crappy reality show after another.:(

MTV is rubbish all right but don't keep cutting off your ears in protest. I hear they won't grow back after the tenth time. :pac:

If it is a girl and her friends get up and dance to cheer her up then its 100 percent ok.

    I possibly would, provided that:

    A) The channel is MTV Dance - preferably Trance Tuesday or late night Friday/Saturday
    B) I am extremely mashed (not drunk ;))
