I have been thinking about buying a touring bike and was wondering if anyone has any comments/reviews on the Claude Butler Regent? Or if you could reccommend any other touring bikes?

Don't know the CB.

Trek 520 is probably the most popular factory built tourer. Also good is Cannondale T2000, or if you're on a budget either the factory spec Surly LHT or buy the LHT frame only and get your bike shop to build it to your spec.

Heard good things about the Fuji tourer but don't know it.

van nicholas amazon gets very good reviews. Blorg has one im sure he will be along in a while!
