Do ehobby downgrade before they ship if you request it?
    Do they charge?
How do i go about requesting it?

Fairly sure they dont do downgrades, at least I've never heard of them doing it anyway.

Don't know if this means anything:
"eHobby Asia is willing to perform the necessary work for free to ensure the shipment complies with all local customs regulations, such as Blaze Marking & Trademark Removal for US buyers."

Why not just ask them directly, tell them what you need... sales@ehobbyasia.com

Ehh, yes and no. If they have the option embeded in the page w/ cost, do it. If they dont, they will say they'll downgrade it, they wont.

Dude, if you haven't order it don't it'd be cheaper to get it of Eirsoft, i ordered one a month or so ago and it cost all in all by the time it was downgraded, postage an extra suplement to send UPS and then customs and vat think it set me back about €160 - €170

no worries, just after last time seeing how much it cost in the end compared to the irish retailers, whats the point. the only way i'd order from far east is for smaller parts the irish lads can't get in or something very rare. At least with the irish lads you know exactly how much it will cost.
