Spent €333 on this MEMUP 1TBmultimedia Hard drive from Pixmania a couple of weeks ago but when I got it, the power switch did work, the fan was like having a hoover on and to be honest the build wasn't solid. On top of that it took up to 10 hours to transfer 400 gigs to it.:(
A friend has a storex one and warned me off them straight away that its slow and hard to connect to a PC.
Can anyone recommend a multimedia hard drive that's actually well made and fast?
Doesnt look like a major player makes any which might suggest the tech isnt up to scratch for them to jump in.
If I cant get a multimedia one was looking at this beast Western Digital My Book® Studio Edition™ 2TB, USB 2.0
