Wireless bridge with WAP54G

I am linking 4 buildings to my broadband using WAP54G's in bridge mode.
Everything is fine up to #3 [Internet access at 2.5 Mbps; service is 3 Mbps], but the AP for #4 won't work [call it unit 4].
I configured unit 4 exactly the same as unit 3, put it in place of unit 3 and then building 3 didn't work, i.e. it seems to be a bad unit.
In case it has a wireless transmit/receive problem, I reconfigured it as an Access Point and I can pick up the signal fine on my laptop.

Does anyone have any ideas before I send it back?

    Thanks.
