Dance / funk / electro band.

    I am a bass player (24 y/o) and I’m hoping to start a dance / funk style band. I’ve spent a lot of time in rock bands and now really want to do something I’ve always wanted to. I’m open to any kind of suggestions and very much welcome different ideas and influences.
    I have a drummer and so I'm looking for a guitarist, singer and keyboard/synth player. I want to write some songs first and then go into the studio.
    You don’t need to be a Mozart, but you must be willing to put in time and effort.

    hey, i was looking to start a electro/industrial/funk/punk band with a female vocalist.
    Something like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Crystal Castles, Mindless Self Indulgence and the likes...
    I'm a guitarist and i'm okay with synths... So hit me if you're interested!

    I live in Clondalkin, but have no problem in travelling about. I would be influenced by bands such as: Pop will eat itself, The Prodigy, The Chem Bros. and being a Bassist I have a fondness for 70/80s funk (Level 42, Early Micheal Jackson, James Brown, Funkadelic). I like quite a lot of rock bands as well, but, it wouldn't necessarily be the music which I'd like to play- but Faith No More, Rage against the Machine and Sepultura would be 3 bands which I'd have mucho respecto for.

    main influences would be Add N to X, Aphex Twin, Leftfield, Enya, Afrocelts, Nathan Fake, Bronski Beat, The Teenagers, Robots In Disguise, Orbital, Deadmau5, Ulrich Schnauss, Vitalic
