Lads thinking of buying a 98-00 one and wondered anyone on here driving one. Was wondering if there was much pulling difference in the 2.0/2.5, never been a speed merchant and wont be hauling huge weights. But wondered due to the size of the Hiace is the 2.5ltr needed?

    Cheers

Pre 02 Hiace vans are are guzzlers, IE before the D4D model. They will pull any trailer like a train. I had a 97 LWB for two years, couldn't get anything more relaible. The Reliability makes up for the thirst. You also have to put up with the image. :D
