Overnight Parking Bray DART Station

Hi, my girlfriend is currently commuting to newcastle from the city center by car and it is a nightmare to get through traffic. We have thought about her taking a train out to Bray and driving from there but this would mean leaving a car there overnight. This is for a short term but the 3 hour commutes are getting crazy. Is there safe and legal overnight parking near the Bray station?
Or anywhere along the Dart line in that general area?

    Thanks
    Adam

you're driving against the traffic, I'm suprised its taking you that long...

there's free parking on (parts of) Bray seafront- wouldn't describe it as being entirely safe, but I've left my car there overnight before without any hassle.

Yes, I thought that .. once you're out of the city centre, it should be plain sailing down the N11/M11 I'd have thought.

Irish rail own that carpark, so there would be a charge for parking there now.

[off topic - this is where the station Luas stop will be, if they ever build that line]

Would it be possible to try get a bus out? 84 from town, or from Bray, whichever really.

i'm currently looking at the trip the other way, 84 or train into town to get to hatch street by 10. i'm thinking the best thing is to drive to bray from greystones and get the train in.

on topic however, i'd say u'd be best to get the 84 all the way from town to newcastle, takes about an hour and a half.

Dart to Bray may possibly be more comfortable and quicker; then get the 84 from here to Newcastle.

after a week of doing it, i'm forced to agree. bus and train seems to be the only way. theres no parking in town or in bray, that anyone can afford. I 'm now hopeing that there might be parking at the luas, sandyford. There is a stop right near Hatch st that would save me the half hour walk from pearce station.
going to try it next week.

Get the 84X to Lower Leeson Street from Greystones. The bus leaving Kilcoole at 0745 will do that job with plenty of time to spare.

Return buses to Greystones are at 1645, 1700, 1730, 1800 and 1845 from Eden Quay and serving the 15 stop on St Stephen's Green East and outside Coopers Restaurant on Leeson Street.
