Dabs - Delivery methods.

Just looking to see if anyone knows what way Dabs ships stuff to Ireland ?

I made my first order yesterday ,but the .pdf invoice hasn't any tracking in it.
The invoice says I was charged a premium carriage rate.

I think they give you a choice of GLS (from Parcelforce in the UK) and maybe DHL. GLS is the default option.

The PDF invoice doesn't contain any tracking info, you should have received a "Notice of Delivery" email with the details in it. If you haven't, then it probably hasn't shipped yet.

Got a separate email from them about delivery. They're sending me a hard drive by standard post.:(

Got my harddrive off dabs today in standard post,don't worry its well protected in its packaging,it took mine 4 working days to deliver.

How much was postage, considering they used standard post?

My postage for the Drive worked out at €12.60

Wish I'd paid more attention when ordering from them. Ordered a hard drive almost 2 weeks ago and no sign of it yet, if I'd spotted that they use standard parcel mail with no tracking info I would have just shopped elsewhere:(

I got the drive ok ,took about five working days.

The packaging is good ,box of about foot square and the drive in a nice tight air tube package.
You'd want to stand on the box to get near the drive.

With Dabs, can you chose which delivery method, an post, dhl etc.
If not and you are not at home when the package arrives what happens?

I made another order with dabs couple of days ago ,no option for delivery.
But it turned out to be UPS ,so I was happy enough to pay €12.60

Anpost tend to leave a note for large items not delivered.
