    just wondering, going down to stay in Galway for 2nights week after next, the 28th and 19th! Just wondering where would be good to go???

    No doubt you mean 28th and 29th.

    I don't go to college, but you've plenty of options and it depends on what you're into. If you're lookin for the ride, try CPs, Halo or Karma. Cuba and GPO are pretty general. Alternative clubs are aplenty in Galway too. Roisin Dubh is ok (Bit ****), but I'm warming to DeBurgos these days. Don't know what its like on a weekday.

    As regards bars, there are a few good ones around the Roisin. If I was suggesting a pub crawl. I'd go Bierhaus - Massimos - An Pucan - Roisin - The Quays - Tigh Coili - Kings Head. This will put you at the cross roads of all the clubs in town. Another couple of bars you might like to check out include The Living Room, The Cellar, Bar 903.

    Ok this is me naming every bar in Galway

    Bierhaus - This one should kind of explain itself
    Massimos - Very modern pub. Good selection of beers
    Roisin - Famous pub. Nice smoking area. Live music from relatively famous artists
    The Quays - Really nice pub. Very enjoyable live music
    Tigh Coili - Live Music. Small Pub
    An Pucan - See above. More laid back
    Kings Head - Popular bar. Live Music often
    The Living Room - Modern Bar. Usually packed
    The Cellar - Nice enough bar. Live music in the basement

    Bring age id. Student ID gets you no where really
