Thought you guys might be interested in this one even though it has a few years left to run before becoming classic. Always had a hankering for one of these. Never thought that I would get the chance.
Anyway on the road. Need to get the NCT sorted and we're away.

We've obviously got very similar taste in cars. I have a scimitar too and the alpine was on my shortlist for daily driver but I went for a fiat coupe instead.Very nice indeed.

    Verrrry Nice.

There used to be one in Athlone in the early 90's that i habitually drooled over.
    Best of luck with it.

Don't they have the same engine as the DeLorean?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 52 ✭✭Spitfire

    MaxDamage,
You are correct. The same PRV (Peugeot/Renault/Volvo) V6 was in the DeLorean & also in the Venturi (another low volume sports car).
It is a nice smooth unit that doesn't give too many troubles.

The car is a hoot to drive so direct compared to other things I have driven and just like a go-kart.

    Congrats!

Nice looking cars - even better in the flesh.

I took a pic of one for the "I saw a classic" thread last year!
