A friend is looking for metal mid-cap mags for a FN Scar and hasn't been able to find any. Do they exist? Anyone any links? Closest I could find is JG 190 rnd mags.

SCARs use M16 mags, any brand you want.

Is it the SCAR-L or SCAR-H?
the L will take stanags...so what your looking for is a metal m4 midcap

the H takes different 7.62 mags

VFC are in the process of making 7.62 midcaps for the Scar-H. They've currently got a high cap out for it.

They are the only mid caps I use, I find the G&Ps to be better quality than any other mid cap I've tried, almost never have a miss feeds with them.

airsofteire.com have them, you'll get them much faster. http://www.airsofteire.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=54&category_id=19&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26

The only thing with them is that I find they don't drop free with the VFC SCAR, where as the mag that came with it will, but its a loose fit in the mag well. The G&Ps fit in nice and snug with a tiny bit of play.
