    Due out on 21st Oct in the US - can pre-order from Amazon.

    Anybody think this is worth shelling out $50 for?

    I have a bluetooth headset for my mobile phone - have nver used it for online gaming but just wondering if I should just use this one or buy the official one above?

    What advantages would the official one have over all the non-official ones on the market?

    the headset has always been a major problem with the PS3. They should of bundled it with it from the start like the 360. I have a motorola bluetooth headset (got it only to play online in Burnout) but it's rare I'll ever find more than 2 people online that also have one.

    If I do its usually some foreign person who thinks its cool to play techno over his bluetooth headset.

    I suppose it does cut down on the saturation of asshattery that you get with the 360

    so are you saying that nobody actually talks during online play?? It must be the type of games you're playing..

    When is SOCOM3 out on PS3 in Europe?

    IF I was to purchase the bundle from Amazon.com would the game be compatible with the European version of the PS3?

    Blu-ray movies are not all region free. Some blu-ray movies are. I recently got Iron Man from the US and it plays fine on my European PS3.

    There is a website that lists blu-rays released in the US that are region free. Check that before importing.

    yeah I've seen this before but why does it happen if it's the same game, movie etc...

    A lot of European gamers must buy their games from Amazon.com & Ebay.com etc.. especially if it's a top title and they can't wait for the European release.

    The same reason some games come out over here before the states.

    1) bigger fanbase, 'cos its Socom NAVY SEALS, which are American

    2) money

    3) its always after japan

    I got mine this morning with Socom ( 43ish euro fro VG+ ) I needed to replace my old one that fell into some “water” ( note to self take off headset before going to the loo).That one was from warhawk & that was ok, quite hard for me to understand people sometimes as my hearing isn’t the best.

    This one seems nice and sturdy I haven’t tried it out yet but it says on the box it supports this new HQ input that came in the 2.5 update I’m not sure if every set does this. But I’m hoping the better quality will help me but I guess that will also be dependant on others having the HQ input as well.
