    Hi there
    We live in charlesland court and have noticed the water from the bath/shower is a brownish colour....any one with similar problems??????

    In my situation it turned out that the copper cylinder (or element) inside the hot tank had burst and the water was toxic. It took ages to get a plumber (3 plumbers and lot's of eye rolling )who actually worked out the problem. There was a load of dirt on the main tank in the loft so they thought clearing that out would solve the problem. It of course didn't.

    Had the hot tank replaced and it's fine now.

    Hopefully yours is not the same! Try draining the main tank in the loft first.
