MacBook power cable blowout

My MacBook's power cable has just burnt through itself. For the moment it's operating on a hope and prayer but I can't see it lasting much longer. I've all my college stuff on this computer so I need a new cable urgently, what's the best place to get one? Would the Apple Store in Belfast have them? Or is there somewhere down south does spare parts?

EDIT: OK, panic over slightly. Mactivate have them. But for €90. I wonder would I be covered for the out-of-warranty replacement Apple announced a few months back. The white insulating cable has melted somewhat, although it's not as dramatic as the photos I've seen on the web.

eBay if you don't get one from Apple

While I'd love that option, I've exams in less than a week. If Mactivate don't give me a free one I'll just have to buy one from them. I reckon I'll get one though. Since my original post it's melted even further and I've unplugged it.

I got 2 power cables for MBPs replaced out of warranty with Mactivate. They asked me to give them name, serial number, phone number and old units and then handed them to me.

Sounds fantastic, I'll head over tomorrow! I'm currently embroiled in a bit of a battle with another company over a faulty unit so it's good to see Apple being decent about this.

Thanks Marky. I got one free off Mactivate today. However, apparently the Magsafe is only covered by a two year warranty, and had mine blown in two weeks time I'd have been left high and dry. So it's good to know there's somewhere else doing them.
