Trinity Vs Smurfit

I am thinking of doing a full time masters in business in either Trinity or Smurfit and was just wondering what people's own personal experiences are.

If you have done (or are in the process of doing) a masters in either of these schools did you enjoy it, did it meet your expectations, what were the people like, did you come up against any problems, was it worth the time, effort and expense, what have been the highlights/lowlights of the course?

(Any other personal or academic advice welcome)

Not to labour the point but they are very different beasts and very different clientels. What, in particular, are you interested in doing : that would help the discussion? Marketing, finance, operations...?

I was more interested in peoples general experiences of doing a masters (any masters) rather than specific issues with specific subjects. Just an insight into what they liked/disliked about their own postgrad experience

Just finished my MBS in Human Resource Management (full-time) in Smurfit at the end of August. Must say was very enjoyable. Hard work, but that is to be expected from any form of Masters. The campus was very good and accessible (although I was living in Blackrock at the time lol). Lectures were well structured and the lecturers were very supportive and provided as much feedback as needed. Were you looking to do it full or part-time? As I believe they are quite different animals.

To answer directly some of your questions, I think it was worth the expense and time. Am currently working at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in HR and love the job. Has stood me in good stead.
