Playing MP3s on a DS?

My mate has a M3 DS real card. We have not put mp3s on yet but it seems it can play them. If it does play them can you play it while the case is closed? i.e. I would like to have it closed in my pocket and have a few songs on it. Are other similar cards better for this?, I would like to get the largest memory card…

Yep it should play them with the case closed, my R4 does and it's probably using the same software. I could be wrong but I think these cards only take up to 2GB.

Moonshell will play when the case is closed.

And M3 will only take 2 gig SD cards.
