Will be doing this one as well, haven't a clue about the course. I cannot remember how big their fields are at Castleknock though to be able to hazzard a gues as to the size of the course. I'd guess it's at least two laps though as they have the 2mile and a 4mile on at the same time.

I've done this race the last 2 years and the course is 4 laps with a 400m climb on every loop.

Watch out for the rugby players!!

    You have been warned!

The course is 1 mile loop. So men will be doing 4 laps with women doing 2. The course
is relatively flat will a few small inclines. The course will follow the perimeter
of the pitches.Course is going good with good to soft in places.

    flayer is here: http://bhaa.ie/images/librarytechers.pdf

Be careful you don't trip up going over the fences or they might shoot you. :D

just looking at the times between this year and last year, and its seems the the times for the first 10, are on avarage 4 mins slower this year. now the pace could just have been slower this year, but i don't think the lead guys would have dropped a minute per lap, so was the lap or conditions different last year?

My garmin clocked it at 4.4 miles and not 4 and this would go along with my pace because I'm not as slow as it would suggest if it was 4 miles

I didn't measured myself but have heard others claim it measured from 4.3 to 4.5 miles.
