Xmas abroad - ideas?

    Hi,
Me and my mate have decided to head abroad just after xmas day say the 27th for a week, ideally somewhere warm. Should we wait til just before the date and what sites or travel agents are best for this. Ideally don't want to spend more than 450 euro a head. We heard Germany is great but would it be really cold at that time and the idea is to be warm as an escape so maybe we should stick to the resorts? Anybody done this before?

It's up to you really, a personal choice of knowing where you going against the risk of not getting somewhere you like.

You'll find numerous booking sites in the sticky

Canaries for that budget, and lots and lots of people have done it before.

Unfortunately you'll find you're not the only person to have plans to escape at
that time of year. It's a busy and expensive time to travel to most resorts.
(People off work and kids off school means increased demand).
If you want any chance of a bargain wait until late January.

Bear in mind the issues with transfers and the like around Christmas too, could find reduced services or services only running weekend/holiday schedules.
