I do hope it's taken out of context because he seems to be a nice guy:

Hollywood actor Billy Bob Thornton was once left red-faced when he was stopped by airport security over a bottle of vitamins.

The Monster's Ball star admits he was angry staff failed to recognise him.

He tells British newspaper the Metro, "I've been at the airport when they've seen something they thought looked fishy. It was vitamins.

"I'd been through the security joint already and then I had to go through another one. And while the guy is checking me, I'm signing an autograph for him so, more than likely, I'm not a terrorist.

"Meanwhile, there's a guy walking through with a beard down to his chest and a towel on his head who they don't check.

"It's Ok to wear a towel if you want to - I don't care. I like everybody in the world. But in terms of a national threat, it's more likely to be him than a f**king movie star."

Seems to be speaking sense to me tbh.

What did he say that you would deem incorrect?

Well the whole "What's he stopping me for? I'm too famous to stop with my tub of tablets that security would check if anybody else had them. Check that rag-head there"

racist prick there i siad it

number of terrorist attacks carried out by fundamentalist muslims in the last ten years:hundreds

number of terrorist attacks carried out by movie stars in the past ten years: zero (i think)

if i was working in airport security and due to time constraints had to choose one of the two to subject to further scrutiny, i wouldn't choose the movie star tbh

edit: except for jessica alba. she'd be taken in the back for a full cavity search

I don't know..... Have you seen Bangkok Dangerous? and let's not forget High school musical

Plus, y'know, number of planes blown up by Irish people: Zero but we still accept that we have to go through security and have to abide by the rules

Oh ffs, you do know they look out for more than just terrorists in airports? You'd think if that guy with the 'towel on his head' were a terrorist he'd smarten up and shave, and apparently dress up like a movie star.

BBT was stopped because he had a bottle of pills, between a movie star and a muslim, who is more likely to have drugs on them?

Regardless of the circumstances or the ethnicity of those in the vicinity, airport security are meant to be unbiased, because if they weren't they'd be pretty shít at what they do.

If BBT really did say this, it only highlights what an ignorant cúnt he is.

whoa whoa, you're getting me wrong. That's what I was getting at. We ALL have to go through the security steps, so why not famous people? I wasn't trying to start a race row. I was just pointing out a comment I read that seemed to be a bit diva-ish and, let's be honest, at least faintly racist, from an actor I admire is all.

Airport searches are usually carried out on a set number , ie they serch every 7th person etc unless they have reason to single you out.

BBT has a fear of old buildings like castles and stuff! He said it on Oprah ha.

as was said they stopped him because of his pills, no need for him or you to bring up muslims or terrorists.
