    hi all i bought a canon ixus s110 over in adverts, it has a cf card which shows error, the seller is un coperative, if i order a new card how do i print off it either via the p.c or on my epson r 245. there was no leads supplyed, i am not in a hurry as i will not require it until christmas, thanks in advance

    With most cameras, you can use a standard USB cable. Check the camera for a USB slot. You should also be able to download a camera manual from the Canon website.

    You can connect the camera to your PC with the USB cable, and then copy across the image files. Or (not sure about the printer), but you may be either able to connect the camera directly to the printer and use the direct print option, or else plug the memory card in to your printer (some have memory card slots).

    Hopefully this will be of some help.

    With the memory card, try to format it in the camera. Memory cards are cheap though.

    it does not seem to have a usb port unlike my old olympus, it has a digital video port all right. i will try the canon website.

    I find the most convenient thing to do is use a card reader. You can pick up a multiformat USB card reader for about a tenner that will read and write pretty much every memory card there is out there. Then just pop the card out of the camera and into the reader when you want to copy photos to your PC.
