    Hey,

Just wondering if anyone has used the GreenFree or 2-fore-1 vouchers at all and whether they think they are worth it ?

    thanks,

Yes I've used them (in N.I.). They were good value but I didn't have to pay anything for them. On some courses they even give you the discount but don't take the vouchers (so you can use them again).

Did you find that many courses were restrictive about when you could play using them ?

I don't really remember. There were some restrictions but not many. One course only allowed them on a Thursday but we didn't play that one. The restrictions are all listed on the site (or they were).

i got a voucher free in a golfing magazine a few months back and went on the website to see what courses in my area accepted them. as there were quite a few i emailed them individually to see about restrictions with regards using them. the only restrictions were that they couldnt be used at weekends. so its basically unrestricted from monday to friday tho i would recommend ringing the club in question first. i ended up playing seapoint just outside drogheda for 30euro each for me and my mate. great day and a great course. where else would you get to play a decent links course for 30 euro!! by the way, there are plenty of other decent courses that accept these vouchers and i think that number can only increase given how the whole world seems to be in the sh!t at the moment. So go for it!!
