What I want is an AMP that can accept A) an optical signal (two would be great) & B) A Regular jack. I'd also like if I could plug up 5.1 speakers in the future, but I just want two front speakers for now.

Can I get this AMP & two good speakers for €500? If so, where?

    Thanks!

You don't say what power required etc.
If its a 5.1 unit have a look at the Soundmatters mainstage hd unit.
its got 5.1 speakers built in 2 ch audio and speech ch.
I think it has optical and other inputs, but you can add extra subs.

    hope this helps

    Thanks for the replies lads.

I think I'm going to buy new, probably just going to go for an all in one pc speaker solution, probably the Z5500 Logitech's or possibly the 7.1 creatives.
