Cheap and reliable domain registrar for .com domains

I am looking for a reliable one, not these $1.99 hidden-cost-up-your-sleeves registrars that will deffo cost more in the end. Any hints? Planning to buy a .com domain and link it to my existing web site, so I do not need any web site hosting, just the domain.

cant go wrong with http://www.blacknight.com/ two years €11.90 excellent support and cheap hosting if required.;)
