Hi, i would be very greatful for any help.
My Wifes job is relocating to Citywest. I work in the IFSC. We live in Donabate, North Co. Dublin. We are going to move to the West of the City. Unfornunately my wife does not drive, so we need to live in a place close to citywest commute/ city etc. My original preference was Leixlip, cellbridge, Nass etc but i cannot see any bus servicing citywest from Kildare. Only from the city centre. We have a young child and would like a town. Can anyone suggest a good location, or know or any services private or otherwise from kildare to citywest. Much appreciated.

I know that one or two of the Bus Eireann 126's (Naas / Newbridge) services stop at Citywest. Check their timetable for more info about that. There is a stop just outside Citywest on the main N7.

Thanks Lynchie.I had a look at the 126 coming from Naas and called busarus. It only stops once in the morning at about 8:50 in citywest as a drop off but does not collect people on the way Back. The lady i spoke to was not 100% so i stand to be corrected. Unfortunely that wont work.

Would you consider Saggart, Rathcoole or Clondalkin in West Dublin? All these areas are linked by Dublin Bus route 69 which travels through Citywest.

Those are the buses that operate through Citywest and via Tallaght.

However, the regular 126 services operate via the Naas road, and as far as I know there are Bus Eireann bus stops on the N7 at the Citywest interchange at which all services on the 126 route stop to set down inbound and pick up outbound. Your best bet is to ring the Inspectors Office at Busarus where they should be able to answer the question properly.

    Thanks Bazzer and KC61.
As for Saggart. rathcool and Tallagh, i will look into it, but i would prefer the kildare side to be clsoe ot a train to the city.
I will call the inspector KC61- tks

KC61 i calld into busarus and was informed that the 126 dones not stop at the interchange, but thanks for the suggestion. Is appears that Citwest is only services by the citycentre and nowhere in kildare.
