    Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone can reccomend a fisheye or wideangle lens for a pentax with a budget of about 500 euro?

    Thanks!

The Sigma 15mm fisheye is pretty good

Are you shooting film or digital? I've got a Pentax 17mm-28mm fisheye zoom (fisheye at 17mm) that I've not used in years since switching to Nikon. They aren't in production anymore but its boxed with soft pouch and works perfectly. I know Pentax do 11-18mm fisheye zooms (I think??) for DSLR's.

I've got the Sigma 15mm fisheye for my Nikon stuff the past 5.5 years and its brilliant. It's a wide 22mm on cropped nikon sensors.

Pete, I thought that you've sold that fisheye on e-bay! :o

Fisheye can get very boring, if you use it on too many shots.
They all start to look the same.
I think you'd be better off with a wide angle zoom.

Should have added that it's on a ff camera. I had it on a 1.6 crop camera and it was dreadful.

Still sitting in the box Thonda. No interest on eBay. I think I had the auction ending at a stupid time, 4am or something so nobody was up to have a bidding war on it?

An accent....just as long as he's not from Cork I can live with it! Just kidding.

PM me Thonda and we'll work something out with the lens.
