Saw it in the cinema a few years ago. I thought it was OK but I'm a big James Garner fan so I like anything he's in. The wife though..she loved it! We saw it in Vancouver on honeymoon and believe it or not the ushers were standing outside the screen rooms handing out hankies! Loads of girls in floods of tears.

Thought it was a bit over hyped (by friends). Only thought it was OK.

Thought the saddest scene was the last one

We just went to the cinema and it happened to be on so we had no hype beforehand. Often the best way.

i agree. i thought Garner and Rowlands were fabulous in it. It was sad at the end but handing out tissues ? Sweet story though.

    Loved It

Amazing chemistry between all four leads (Garner, Rowlands, McAdams and Gosling)

i agree except for Mcadams, find her a little irritating as an actress. You sort of know what she's gonna do next or something ??? Gosling was great though
