Phone broke...but I bought it on adverts

    I bought a Nokia 5310 recently on adverts.ie but after a month or so of use, the screen has completely stopped working. Now, i have to say, the phone was dropped once but worked perfectly after that. There is no damage on the phone itself.

    If i bring it into any meteor store will they honour the warrenty if it is still under warrenty? The phone was very new in the box, but i never got the receipt.

    You'll probably have to send it off to MPRC (http://www.mprc.ie/) or someone else to repair under the manufacturers warranty. If you aren't sure, ring them and give them the IMEI number and they'll tell you if it is under warranty.

    The phone isn't out here too long so it will be covered unless its customer damage which the OP thinks its not. I would reckon it was just a coincidence that it broke-I think there crap anyway-I have to log them for repair way too many times, the most sent off model at present in work! its unfortunate:(
