Hand Brake??

hi i recently downloaded handbrake to convert my dvds to my ipod and for some reason it only downloads 20 sec of any of the dvds iv tried!! why is this???? can some one help me please!!! it says click on video ts folder which im doing and its still not working any ideas would be great thanks:)

Sounds like it could be a trial version limited to first 20 seconds.
You sure it's a full version you have?

It's free, and can convert your movies. It's more or less a front end GUI for lots of converters.

Handbrake is free, no trial.

1 Rip the DVD to you harddrive to decrypt it. Very important step. (DVDDecrypter will do here)

2. Once saved to harddrive open Handbrake. Don't select the VIDEO_TS folder itself, click the folder above it. When handbrake runs it expects to find a VIDEO_TS folder in whatever folder you specify. If you select VIDEO_TS itself, it won't work.

3. Lastly, make sure you click the drop down beside title and select the main movie. You'll know it because it's generally the longest time wise.

4. Set the output folder and use the ipod template and click start.

sorry but first off how do i rip dvd to hard drive??

A) Open DVDDecrypter and choose File | Mode | File Mode and hit CTRL-A to select all files.Press F



Save to a folder. You may need to create a VIDEO_TS folder yourself.

thanks anyways but im giving up:mad: it will only down load 89% and keeps stoping!!! obiously im not ever goin to see dvd on my ipod!

Does the disc look ok? Scratched etc?
Try another disc if you have teh time

im still trying to download dvd decryptor1 it just wont work il try again later thanks:)
