    Hey guys...I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need some serious advice here as my patience has just run out.

One particular flatmate is really taking the biscuit here, Its a girl, mid twenties.

Im not even sure where to start with this so bare with me. this girl is a nymphomaniac drug taking care free tit!! ....she has no consideration for anyone but herself, albeit she seems very nice to your face and friendly, its her actions that destroy most weekends for me and some days during the week..

ok...the nympho side?..on adverage, she brings home 4-5 guys per week without fail....these often are random strangers, she doesnt have a boyfriend (she meets most of these guys online via friend finder) now...by all means ..have your fun..but not when she doesnt know how to keep her mouth shut and moaning the house down with shaking walls...(yes..shaking walls)

she socialises with complete nackers sometimes (the sort that deals drugs on a large scale, driving supped up cars) there might be 3 to 4 of them in her room some saturdays, taking drugs into the wee hours..walking around the house like they own the place, making noise until 7-8 in the morning, she has 3 somes and foursomes in her room, its just too much.

I dont care about the fact that she has them...have fun..I dont mind..BUT when It starts infringing on the other people in the house, then its my problem...

2 instances that should be noted...about a month ago...3 men came to the door at 04:00 in the morning..wanting the "girl"....we told them to get lost....but no..that wasnt enough for them...they then proceeded to climb over our back wall and climb up onto the ****ing roof? we all got woken up...rang the police..but they then left...

Only last night....or morning should I say..did I hear loud banging on the door..(about 05:00)....2-3-4 times ....I had enough..opened the upper window and told them to "F" off.....they wanted the "girl" and I said "look at the time, get lost!".....and they did....

there are other instances....but am I on any grounds to get her evicted?...

I know the consequences of mentioning drugs as we might all get in trouble (even though its just the one girl)..

    so..any advice?...

    thanks...

All of you need to tell her it's not working out and ask her to leave. Failing that you need to just pack her stuff, leave it in the garden and change the locks. Or you move somewhere else.

I was thinking about that...the Landlord is the most useless human being alive.....you might see him once a year....one of the other flatmates is her best friend (hardly think she'd kick her out?) and the other 2 have only been in the house 2 weeks....(new change over in flatmates)

    its kinda tricky....

    Move- for your own sanity?
Be blunt with the landlord as to your reasons for moving.

I think I will....I'm meant to be moving in with my brother in about a month...but not sure If I can take another month of it...you know?...

I didnt sign a lease so as soon as I get the red light from my bro..Im gone...just doing this to help the other nice flatmates out.....

I think they are also looking for new accomodation as we speak...

You need to either take this advice OP or otherwise get together with all your other housemates and tell her to her face that you all want her out, and pronto.

This girl has serious problems and if I were you I wouldnt be allowing her to make them mine anymore. These ramdomers she's bringing home could go off their heads and wreak the place or rob you all blind or even kill someone; if they're that off their heads they'll have no control over what they're doing. You need to put a stop to this right now.

I'd also tell her on her way out that if you wanted to hear people riding all night you'd have watched a porno. Sounds like she's got a lot of growing up to do and I wouldnt be letting her do it under my roof cause it sounds like a process that'll take her several years with many horrible experiences scattered along the way.

Ehhh yeah, don't go in for that driving test just yet. :D

    Simple solution, move out.

Right first of all this is not part of your contract with your landlord. I have a few flatmate/housemate horror stories to tell, but not now. This is unacceptable OP. Your home is turning into an orgy fest. That's great if you all agree to be part of it, but not in your case.

She may have huge insecurity problems. You said they are random people she met online. Goodness knows who will end up on your doorstop on a daily basis. Put a stop to it before other people get the wrong idea of your house. You don't want it to become a junkies paradise where anyone and everyone will make themselves feel welcome. Act now. Talk to your fellow tenants, go and see your landlord and get it sorted. Pronto. Good luck with it OP.

That or move out yourself. It may be much better if you do.

Go to the landlord and tell them either this girl gets kicked out the landlord will lose you and the other tenants.
And be prepared to walk if the landlord does nothing, there are looooads of gaffs to rent these days.

The landlord will panic at the prospect of losing rent money and do the neccesary for you. There will be a notice period though before she leaves.

Sounds like a fun girl, got any pics?? Just kidding, you gotta just sit her down and let her know how much she's wreckin your head. failing the softly-softly approach, I'd just proceed with the new locks, bags in garden approach as previously suggested. If thats unrealistic then you should probably move out as a last resort, there are plenty of rentals on the market at the moment, shouldnt be too hard for you to move in with your bro/someone you can trust.

Total sympathies - that sounds like a nightmare.

I'd move asap if I were you. Good luck!

Tell the landlord she has to go, or you all go. Mentioning the drugs may also encourage him...
(I presume you're waiting on a green light from your bro...!)

    OH SWEET EFFING MOSES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am effing gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im writing this just after the most recent incident...

2 of her friends called over for her...they said "oh were here to see "her" ".....I said...fine.....let them in...

now..she is always in her room (the very top room in the house...attic room).....they went up.......SHE wasnt there.....to my dismay finding out later....

when I heard them go..my other flatmate ran down saying " they just drove off in her car, effing hot wired it"......I was thinking...."OH FFS...are you serious?"

not only that...but threw her room about....stole over 2 grand in her room (god knows why she had that much in there) and squirted tooth paste all over her mirror?........(they must have done it quietly as we didnt hear a thing)....

we rang the cops....they came.....we had a name...and number...30 mins later they come back "we've caught him" they said.....PERFECT........or was it?...

an hour after...." BUMP BUMP BUMP crash!!!!".....kicks in the effing door....runs up to her room..grabs her out of the bed..punches her...and tells her that he's getting revenge.....runs out whilst Im on the phone to the police....

front door is in a mess.....IM GONE!.....sick of this effing place..

I think everyone is going tomorrow for good.....tough **** landlord!.....

sorry for the rant...but Im a lil edgey right now.....

    problem solved!

    teddi :(

Yeah, I think move really is the only option now.

This whole thing is putting your life and the lives of the others in potential danger.

I don't have any other advice apart from getting your deposit back, not your fault she is a bit crazy, involved with crazies.

My god I thought I had problems, that is awful OP. The house is now a target for god knows how many scumbags now your only option is to get out and never look back that girl has some very very messed up problems.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,029 ✭✭✭um7y1h83ge06nx

Also, I wouldn't give her any information regarding where you're moving to etc. Just make a complete, clean break from her. I wouldn't like some-one like her or her friends knowing where you live.

Take time off work if need be to pack up and go. Even if you have to sleep on a couch or floor I would just go.

Sounds like she owes money to people if they're ransacking her room, nicking her car etc. Bad stuff.

Sounds like a messed up girl who is only going to get worse, what part of the country is this in?

Try and get short term accomodation until your bro is ready to move in somewhere.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 463 ✭✭Teddi

thanks for all the replies guys....

Its been decided last night that everyone is going to leave the house....Over one persons stupid actions.......can't believe the level of inconsiderate behaviour from her....messing up everyone else...

we all made statements to the police really late last night....

fair play to them....usually getting a bad rep...the boys in blue did a fab job, stayed with us for hours, reasurring us etc.

this dude was a serious drug dealer, you just dont mess with them....

so the appartment hunting begins again!....

What was she doing with 2 grand in her bedroom?

Are you sure those were one night stands she was having, and not that she was using your flat as a brothel?

Not wanting to upset the OP any further as she is moving out, it wouldn't surprise me if she was. They obviously knew there was a lot of cash in the room and took it all. End of story I am afraid. A part of me feels sorry for her. As I said earlier she may be a very insecure person and attracted the wrong kind of people.

OP: get the f**k out of dodge, in case one of the scum bags find nothing in her room, and goes to your room to make up for the loss. You mentioned something about moving in with your bro: do it now.

Teddi, you should consider finding a B&B or similar until you are sorted. Many will do a deal if you are staying for an extended period.

There are so many freaks in this world. Unfortunately you only get to realise this when you start sharing homes with people!

    Best of luck OP.
