    I still haven't found out if I'm eligible for a grant yet.

    Cork VEC told me they're 'hoping' to get the letters out the end of this week coming. I know I got mine though because they rang and asked which currency I wanted it in about a week ago :D

    I sent mine into Fingal Co Co at the end of June.
    Last time I talked to them, about a month ago, they said they would hopefully get back to me around January 2009...

    A fairly unbelievable lack of competence dealing with these all round it seems.

    Have been ringing the galway offices twice a week for the past three weeks and no joy. So went in today and while I may have been a bit direct (to be fair all my stuff was in on time bar one thing which was three days late, AND they lost half my documents), they said I would have a letter on my doorstep either Friday or Monday.

    I'm in the same position too. Say if we didn't get confirmation untill January, will we still get the money that we were due previously or will it just start from our acceptance date???
