Maybe I'm in the minority but I think Tubridy Tonight is shockingly bad this year. Never really been a fan in the first place but any time I flick it on it's rubbish. The guests are real B stars and the whole thing is weak as hell. I dont think it will survive another season.

Maybe there are others who like it?

I have to agree with you, i happened upon it there a few minutes ago and he was interviewing some peroxide blonde Irish z list celeb and i nearly puked. He's too smug for his own good.

Yeah. Saw a few minutes of some "comedian" guy before the WAG and it was just rubbish. The WAG was painful too.

He used to get the occasional interesting guest - Clive James, Jon Snow, John Sergeant, Michael McDowell, etc... But now it seems to be a constant diet of lowest common denominator crap. I wouldn't be surprised if it's being deliberately starved of decent guests, just to make the Late Late look less awful.

I was planning on tuning in until I heard Robbie Keane's housewife was a guest. Peaches Gelfdof was on a few weeks ago ffs.

He may be annoying at times but at least Jonathan Ross gets quality guests most weeks. Tubridy is toilet material now.

Would totally agree with above, the standard this year is gone way down. About 2 weeks ago, I heard Ryan Turbridy interview the actress that plays Jojo in Raw, Charlene something, on the radio on Wednesday, the following Saturday night who pops up on Turbridy Today, the same actress, with the very questions, going on about the Monaghan accent . The audiance games are just plain stupid at this stage too.

Yeah, the audience games are stupid and the band are annoying too. The whole American talkshow thing with the accompanying band just does not work over here.

I always saw it as a Letterman rip-off, they've had some decents guests at times (Linc from Prison Break last yr, Aidan Quinn a few weeks back) but havin Robbie Keanes wife on there a while back was the last straw for me. Its like the media are trying to make a Posh n Becks out of them, oh God no.
Jonathan Ross's guest list wiped the floor with Tubridy, Roger Moore the other night was a scream and upstaged even Colin Fecking Farrell! :D
