    Lads,
Just wondering what ye reckon on this.
Was trying to get more of a metally tone straight from the amp with no pedals. The MT2 is a bit shrill to my ears.
After a lot of playing around with different things here what I've come up with. The main part of this sound is an asymetrical diode clipping circuit with a pot to control the "hardness" of the clipping.

This can be switched in and out of the circuit to bring it back to the original tone like in the other vid I put up.
Any opinions, suggestions or idea's before I drill more hole's in that poor little amp!! :)

    Sounds great to me!

Btw, would that amp in the heinz beans tin be loud enough for busking on a street?

It's only a half watt through a 86dB speaker, more for bedroom levels really.
I was thinking of building a 1 Watt version
with a more sensitive speaker. That would do the job for busking.
