Got press accreditation for the Cyprus Game in Croker on Wednesday, any of you sports boys shoot there under lights?

I'll be there on Wed too.

Croke Park is probably the best lit venue I've had the pleasure of shooting in.

I'll be there too. You could get away with ISO 500 depending on the conditions.

The lights are REALLY good. Depending what camera you have I'd still leave the ISO as high as possible just to freeze those action shots nice and sharp. But if your getting insane ISO at 800-1000 keep it at those ;)

Where can we go, behind the goal?

When you go there you will be told where you can go. :)

You're restricted to both sides behind the goal. Bring a fold up stool because the matting really digs into your knees. You won't be allowed on the sidelines during the game.

You'll find out quick enough when you arrive. Anywhere really behind the advertising hording at the back sides. The corner areas are usually quickly snapped up.

I'll be there aswell! Heard the lights there are incredible..
Been shooting at Dalymount recently and they are shocking so it'll be a nice change.

Looks like this will be a mini boards meet.

Now, we just need plenty of good action, some goals, and an Irish win. :D

Misread that for a second and thought you were looking for some girls. :)

Make sure you bring something to sit on.
Otherwise, you could be quite uncomfortable kneeling on the plastic mats they use to protect the pitch.

There's no crossing over for the team shots, so you'll have to make a decision on which side you want before the teams come out.

I won't be making any more games this year, due to being stuck in England, but it's good to see boards being well represented.

was wondering, for the people who got press accreditation are you's part of an organisation or what is needed to get one of these press accreditation???

    FAI, ASJI and AIPS.

Work for a local paper and know people in the FAI

I got mine from supplying images to Cork City FC for years & then getting eircom League accreditation, when the FAI took over the league.
From there, I apply to the FAI for each individual International game.
I like to think I've earned it, after so many years of being involved with the League of Ireland.

Exactly I like to think of it the same way as the rugby too. Start off small and make it to bigger and better things.
