did you see james mays' program about technology had a visit to dcu to alan smeaton and his logging project where they take pictures every 30 seconds or when things change and the log and determine different significant events in order to give computers/robots memories etc might be repeated during the week. bbc2

yeah i saw it dont know the lecturer they had on it but it was an interestin experiment.
