Yes sorry for posting so many links. Not all will be useful but hopefully one or two are to some people.

I tried the following link at random from the massive list above.
    http://www.golftoday.co.uk/proshop/tuition/index.html

Appears very useful & practiced my swing & grip out in the garden based on the tecnhiques mentioned.
Could be just what I needed as the club head feels a lot steadier & my swing seems smoother.
The explanation & diagrams make perfect sense & when analysing my old setup, there was really no control in it at all, no wonder I was all over the place.
Hopefully this will help eliminate my slice & get me towards a sub-100.

I'll just have to get out on the driving range or get 9 holes in some afternoon to see if it actually works in practice.

    Thanks stockdam - much appreciated.

There's a lot of links so I'm glad you found something interesting. Some stuff will help and other stuff may not. I like to watch swings like Durant's and Sorenstam's. Both are simple and remind me that you don't need lots of movement.

I also like the one under "analysis" showing Adam Scott verses a good amateur. It's one of the problems I have at times and am trying to fix.

Anyway I hope that some of the stuff works for some people.

Maybe people should let me know what is good (or bad) and what level they are at.

Seconded. Needs to be edited though for out and out dross or dead links.

    Great start Stockdam.

There's a duplicate in the General Instruction links (won't let me edit it out). I haven't looked at this section as I get bored too quickly.

However I did check all the other sections and all the links are good (they may not be in the future though so if you like any of them then grab them and save them). Most of the stuff is fairly decent and I hope none of it is utter dross.

Even if you don't agree with all of what's being said, you can usually learn by watching somebody with a good swing - watch how easy and still they are.

Oh and don't miss the stuff by Trevino - that guy knows how to hit a wedge.

Yes feel free to say what stuff is good and what's bad. Add other stuff too.

Sorry. Meant edited in the future if a sticky , not the OP. Nothing wrong with the fine kick off list.

No problem sandwich - some of the stuff may be "weak" although I think it is not too bad for a start. People may post better stuff (hope so) but I take your point that in the future most of the links may be dead. A lot of the links on the last site (Thor's links) are dead.

I'd suggest that if anyone finds any of the stuff good then save it.

I looked at most of the videos and I picked up a few good things that I'd forgotten. I prefer watching videos than still photos. I love the way some people make pitching and chipping look so easy.

two sites that you can subscribe too are

    www.thegolfchannel.com

    www.golflink.com

Think golfchannel is $30 a year and golflink is $50 I used them for one year and I think they were worth it some good teachers in there and some great advice.

Complete on-line guide written by Leslie king (who taught Julie Inkster among others).
It's from the 50's/60's but still decent.
