    Hi Folks,

Was doing my papers today and found the following. On Skoool.ie App Maths section, under "Projectiles" (http://www.skoool.ie/skoool/examcentre_sc.asp?id=2590) you'll find the formulas for horizontal planes.

    In particular, this one: Projectiles-003.gif

It should read: u SinA - gt (i.e. (Intial Velocity x Sine Alpha) minus (Gravity x Time)

I checked in my book and I am 99% sure I'm right.

    Any ideas?

It sort of looks like they're giving the equation for the initial speed (often denoted with a u instead of a v), ie when t=0, but they don't state it, which is erroneous.
But yes, of course for the general expression you'd need a gt in there.
