Has anyone heard of any plans for Halloween (clubs or societies nights out etc?) I know it falls on a Friday this year so that might/might not have any impact on events

Well, the surfer are talking about a trip away to the west that weekend. Also Pink training may be on that weekend or the following one.

There'll be a Hist debating trip to Cork.

And nearly every society and the SU will probably do a night out at some stage during the week.

I'm actually kinda looking forward to Hallowe'en in Cork; costume party plus lots of people I know, with likely-to-be-subsidised drink...yes yes. Better than the usual Dublin stuff anyway.

Ultimate Frisbee will also be in Cork on Hallowe'en, as it happens, for the Cork Open.

The LGBT usually has some cool stuff on around Hallowe'en, usually with incredibly brilliant costumes. And the year I went to a Sci-Fi thing, while marred for being in D2, was still quite decent - again, some really cool costumes on show.

Interestingly, I too will be in Cork, for an tOireachtas. An Cumann Gaelach will probably be organising a trip down also, so keep your ears peeled.

Do you think I'd get in to this tonight without being a member? Can I just join at the door?
