    Boards cannot survive on one revenue stream alone.
    Multiple sources are needed.

    I think Vexorg said before that if possible they'd like to remove ads from the view of subscribers. Can't really remember, maybe I was drunk, but I'm sure its part of the plan.

    Why not?

    It is double standards, the guys who put the ads there own this site and require them for their living. They can do what they want.

    Animated gifs just slow the whole place down and annoy.

    Theres an option in the user cp to remove banner adverts for subscribers. Couldnt be arsed to turn it on though so I dont know if it actually works.

    had to put ad-blocker back on last night - whatever ads were trying to load locked up the website for me.
