iTunes censorship?

    Just went on to the iTunes store there. I had a look at the top songs, and found that "S*x on Fire" seems to have replaced "Sex on Fire" at number 1. I thought this was a little more Republican than usual, but dismissed it with a 'Meh' and kept looking, only to find "L**e you Anyway" by Boyzone and "L**e Lockdown" by Kanye West lower down the list. Wtf? 'Love' is a dirty word now? H*ly sh*t! :rolleyes:

    Mine's got the full words too and I'm on the US store which I would imagine gets Republicanized first if this was done on purpose :).

    Ha ha maybe! Although it's gotten a bit ridiculous now, someone at Apple has got to be having a laugh here, take a look (numbers 1, 9 and 10)... :rolleyes:

    i've been looking at "Live and Dangerous" by thin lizzy on itunes and the song "johnny the fox meets jimmy the weed" is censored!!! - the word johnny comes up as j****y !!. Also all throughout itunes (for me anyways) the word "love" is censored.

    The funny part is Oasis - standing on the shoulder of giants album.The first track called "****in' in the bushes" is not censored! (although it is censored by boards) - go figure.

    Yeah it's madness. I just posted on the Apple discussions about how you can easily find loads of f**ks and c**ts on itunes!!

    oh no it's ok - my calendar is showing 12 Oct when it should be 1st April!!
