Thats a pretty big statement. Or were you making a joke?

Id be very surprised if this is even half full given the outrageous price they are charging, especially seen as there is a recession on, madness, the promoters should be ashamed of themselves, let's compare it to Antiworld in Birmingham also with Infected Mushroom on the line up along with many others including the superb Mark EG, it's £20 in and it's on ALL NITE

Greedy promoters should be named and shamed.

why are you banging on about this in this thread and not responding to what people asked to you in the "greedy promoters" thread?

I little off topic, but do you think they'll be really strict on ID on the door? I wouldn't say a very young crowd will be going, or even that many people so I'm hoping the bouncers wont be on alert...

    Expect to be ID'd

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,915 ✭✭✭Alkers

From what I've seen of the Tivoli be expected to be ID'd. Door staff there have always been good, if you're a bit too drunk they will tell you to come back in an hour and so on but I wouldn't expect to get in without ID at all.

Pretty savage alright was surprised with the amount of metal heads there, pretty frustrating to have someone moshing all over you in the middle of the dance floor.
    Still haven't slept...

metal heads moshing at a psy trance gig  jaysus sounds like a nightmare, scruffy cu*ts the lot of them:pac:

I liked the mix of psytrance and metal fans. Moshing is grand if it's not cúnts involved, and for the most part, it wasn't like that last night, and the moshing was really confined to one area only.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,440 ✭✭✭✭Piste

Unfortunately if you wanted to get near the front you had to cross the Lake of Moshers who covered me in sweat and ruined my shoes. I would've prefered if the crowd was more chilled and danced more than jumped around, but that's the only complaint I have with the whole night!

sorry man but "moshing" should be confined to heavy metal gigs only scruffy herberts that they are, if some cu*t started moshing in front of me at some dance nite they would be well and truly pushed away:D

And then they push you back and BAM, mosh pit!

    Yeah it was damn annoying.

In fairness, a lot of Infected Mushroom's later stuff is heavily influenced by metal, hence their metalhead following (although it should be said that a lot of metalheads seem to be into psytrance in general too).

    Also:

That's kind of the idea :p

It wasn't really a typical dance night, since they're not a typical dance act at all, but I thought it was a fun, different experience.
