They seem to have split the Seasick Steve/My Morning Jacket bill that was supposed to be in Kilmainham on that date.
Prompted by your post, I checked Ticketmaster, and Seasick Steve is now in the National Stadium on 29th October, supported by Amy LaVere (who was on the original Kilmainham bill), whereas My Morning Jacket have been moved to Tripod on the same night.
Anyone who had equal interest in both acts is going to be torn between which show to go to.

2025 Gigs and Events: Stuart Murdoch, Lyle Lovett, The Corrs/Imelda May/Natalie Imbruglia, Olivia Rodrigo, Iron Maiden, Dua Lipa, Lana Del Rey, Weezer, Billie Eilish (x2), Oasis, Sharon Van Etten, The Human League, Deacon Blue

Is it sold out already or is it just that tickets haven't gone on sale yet?

It doesn't give a date that tickets go on sale for either Seasick Steve or MMJ now so I'm hoping that means they haven't gone on sale yet.

[edit]Just rang Ticketmaster and they guy said they're not on sale yet - although he wasn't able to tell me when they would be going on sale[/edit]

nice one.. will just have to keep an eye on ticketmaster site. 'onstage at 8pm' sounds like they might be playin a long ol set. saw em in manchester over the summer and they played for over 2 hours, so hopefully more of the same

Weird - both the Seasick Steve and My Morning Jacket gigs have now disappeared from the Ticketmaster website.

[edit] Nevermind - they're both back on the site now. Still no word on when tickets will go on sale though[/edit]

Hope this doesn't have anything to do with it:

Now for some more serious news... US alt.country rockers My Morning Jacket have cancelled their upcoming European tour, which was due to call on these shores in London on November 12th. The reason: singer/guitarist Jim James has failed to recover from injuries suffered after he fell off stage at a show in Iowa last week.

A statement from the band reads as follows:

"It is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of My Morning Jacket's up-coming tour to Europe due to injuries suffered by Jim James in Iowa City. For the fans who have purchased tickets, we would like to extend our gratitude for your support and understanding. Our hope was to merely postpone the tour, but as our scheduling does not allow that to happen in the immediate future, we feel it is best to cancel this tour in hopes of re-scheduling at some point. We would also like to say 'thank you' to all the fans who have reached out to Jim with their well-wishes as we all hope for his speedy and full recovery"

    Hope he gets well soon
