Secondsout.tvwas one site that showed boxing online for a small price,.think it was around 6 US dollars ,....but with all boxing now so freely available online , one must wonder if there are any subscribers left.

For example , Justintv is a perfectly legitimite site , and will close down any user broadcasting material that they feel is in breach of copyright rules.
As end level users , we are allowed to watch whatever is on offer , and the only people that may be guilty of wrong-doing are the streamers/host website for enableing copyright material.

it's probably like watching a clip on youtube , only to find out that clip was recorded from HBO at some stage.
Or just like recording a favourite song from a radio station. Technically , you shouldnt do it , but when they are charging 45$ for a ppv fight on a tv set , you cant help but feel ripped off ,..... as actual tickets to the events usually start around 100$.

I think it's the excessive greed that has back-fired on promoters etc.
The lust for money , they dont care if they offer value or not , if they rip off the fighters , rip off viewers, fans, then thats just great for them.
You dont have to look too far back to see Oscar's v Floyd rematch set-up , there was huge outcry by the boxing public in the states , and people campaigned not t buy the PPV rip-off.
Much the same as what Warren put out for Amir Khans last fight ,..... People camapigned against the 14.95 price !!! there were something like 45,000 signatures on the online petition or something.

When a gift-horse walks right up to you and punchs you in the nose ,... you cant turn him away!

And it's not going to last for ever either,.... the online streams will be dealt with by the profiteers of PPV eventually, ........and you'll be back subscribing to sky , subscribing to setanta , paying your cable fee and then an excessive"one-off" PPV screening charge.
And they will push everybody to the limit to squeeze the last penny they can from you.

Personally , I would be happy to pay 5 euros every-weekend to see the boxing from the US and Europe, but the price of legit subscriptions these days has forced me and most fans to watch the free gift that is online.

I certainly dont feel guilty not paying, Its probably just leveling out a little considering what I have forked out over the years:rolleyes:

oh ,..... generally they wont advertise when the streams are coming up,.... they will just arrive on the regular justintv channels.
I wouldnt have the slightest worry about finding a stream for the german or US card on the night.

Dawson dosent come onto Setanta untill 2 am anyway,.... its 2 different shows, they arent on the same card.

Sam Peter's fight is on earlier around 10pm saturday night.
That finishes @ 12 midnight , then a preview show for the Chad Dawson card.

By the way Cuban Olander Solis is fighting on the undercard of the german show I think!

What time you get home from the pub ?
