Mix and match insurance?

I have a modern car, a classic bug and a bike. I find it really annoying that I have to have three policies with three different companies??

Quinn have my A6. Despite offering bike insurance, they wouldn't quote for my GSX so I'm with a bike specialist underwritten by AXA and I have another AXA policy with a classic car specialist broker (which earns no NCB anyway).

Why have we got to play mix and match with insurance? It's all simply motor insurance, right? Surely having multiple vehicles is a good opportunity to get a decent quote for all three from the same insurer? It's their own internal restrictions preventing this so where is the customer service??
