Warranty problem!?

    Hi,
    6 monts ago I bougt from expansys.ie PDA HP Ipaq 214. Everythink was fine till last mont. I've got on the screen small dead pixel, and speaker stop work. Because PDA still is on warranty I returned it to expansys to be fixed. They send it for repair to HP.
    After 2weeks time I've got mesage from expansys:

    "We have now received a quote from HP to issue a replacement Ipaq as they have found yours to be unrepairable due to liquid damage. The cost inc VAT/shipping is £173.97."

    It wasn't any liquid damage because I've used it only insaide the buildings or insaide the car, PDA never had any contact with the water. I think that were they easy answer to not fix PDA on them cost. What I can do now? I want to my PDA to be fix or replaced.

    Ask them to provide Hi-Res images of the liquid damage. As far as I recall, the repair centre take these as standard to be sent to the Customer Care so they have a record and so they know what to inform you.

    Was the unit ever kept in your pocket while you were working/wandering around?

    Like I said Pda never had any contact with the water, and I had use it in the car with windsreen holder as a part of GPS unit, I used it also insaide a house, and whatever been carry out, always was insaide carry casy, and sreen protector was from 1day. I really look after my PDA.
