How many euros do I need to earn in ROI to equate in real terms to £50k ?

I earn just less than £50k in IT in London and am thinking of moving to ROI or possibly NI.
I can do the currency conversion to judge house prices etc but can I assume the euro equivalent of £50k which today is 63k euro will give me an equivalent lifestyle in ROI?
I suspect the cost of living in ROI is significantly more but is it possible to quantify that?

How much experience do you have out of interest. Jobs in london tend to pay more than you get paid here. Basically in ireland you pay about 20 percent tax for the first 35k and 40 percent tax above that.

I would imagine that the cost of living in ireland is cheaper in terms of house prices and rent. Prob around the same for food and stuff. Dublin is a good bit more expensive than the rest of ROI. In the same way that London is more expensive than the rest of England.

On that wage you would probably be paying more income tax in Ireland then the UK.

    VAT here is higher.

Food and clothes are more expensive, eating out is a lot more expensive.

Rent in Dublin is comparable in parts with London, though no underground here.

You would need to be earning more then the euro equivalent to enjoy the same lifestyle here.

    I have 15 years experience.

I would hope to have about 400k euros to put into a house so would hope to have no mortgage or a fairly small one which I guess has a major impact on how much I'd need to earn.
