    i took this last nite and found all these colour dots on the image.
    what caused these do you think?

    glass is clean, other images I took were fine so sensor is cool, I think it might be because of the exposure being to long but don't know cause this is my 1st time.
    any clues?

    Make sure you turn on 'long exposure noise reduction' if your camera has it, when you are taking a shot like this.

    that hot pixels thing is pretty on the mark, pain in the ass but there ya go.
    it took awhile, could have done a bit better but don't have the patience to clean it all up
