SNCF sleeper train - trying to book online

I'm hoping someone may be able to shed some light on my query. I'm trying to book trains from Paris to Bourg St Maurice online via the SNCF (Raileurope) website, heading to Val d'Isere for 8 days skiing in December.

    I'm being told

"Route not available for purchase just yet... "

Now this is normal if you try and book over 3 months in advance. But it is now well past the 3 month barrier and they still won't let me. I've been onto Irish Rail, got a very helful guy there, and he says he can't do it either.
Anyone know what is going on?

I've done this route many times before (fly to Paris and take overnight train) and it is a fantastic way of getting to the Alps, and you get 8 days skiing. The train is great, you can easily get 6 or 7 hours kip in proper beds. Have had some great experiences doing this trip. SNCF are brilliant in my experience. Several times they have sorted me out when I've missed trans at no extra charge.

I just had a play around with the options on the RailEurope site and seems that it will only let you book for upto the 10th December at the moment.

Possibly someone did the webpage and couldn't count up to trois properly.

Thanks, I worked out something similar, unfortunately I'm travelling later than the 10th.

It looks like the SNCF have recently updated their site, certainly since I last booked trains last year.
It used to work really well, easy to use. Now it is a mess. A classic case of trying to improve something but only making it worse. They've obviously taken Windows Vista's lead

I think it says somewhere on the the french site and in french, so my translation may not be correct, that you will be able to book the ski train from the 19th of December onwards in mid October although it doesn't give a specific date. It does have the timetables though.

Some trains come onto the site later than the 3 month mark. I get the sleeper train to Modane every year, and spend weeks sweating wondering if this will be the year that it doesn't run as the three month mark comes and goes. But it always does. And the trains that come on later seem to book up slower.

One thing: when you are entering your details, make sure you say you are in Ireland. They ask you your country at a different point from your adress, and if you've just left the "France" default, it will try to post your tickets to France.
