    Hey there,
I"m looking for a top hat in Dublin.
Any ideas on where to get one? Hopefully not too expensive as it's only for a halloween costume.

I remember hearing about a place up by georges street arcade, but never seen or been personnally

Might be easier to order online, there's a site being talked about at the moment that has a few ok top hats in it.

Depends if you want to really cheap novalty made out of cloth ones, or a half decent felt one.

If it's just for a Halloween costume the joke shop across the road from St. Stephen's Green shopping centre has an okay selection.

There is a hat shop in George's Arcade. Never checked it for top hats surprisingly. There's also a hat shop in Stephen's Green, just beside the 3G store that might be of use.

I got mine from Blacktie. They sold it cheap because the last person to rent had been me-two years previously!

How about a cheap bowler, just for fancy dress purposes... ?

Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy cheap/beg/steal/borrow a bowler? Quality doesn't really matter, as it's just for fancy dress!
