Ok, I have a metal Walther PPK, but still ....

Does the pistol have a threaded barrel or some such for the silencer? I'd *love* to get the silencer to fit mine. Then turn up to HRTA for some "protect the VIP" missions wearing a tuxedo :pac:

Crappy pics yea man right:D Looks like a beauty. Remember having a plastic toy ppk when i was small, hours of enjoyment was had i tell ya. Come to think of it i prob still have it.

You're right big pity that it's non metal but the abs looks glossy and metallic, Fantastic trademarks and the silencer completes it even if it does look a little long for the piece. Great buy overall vtec especially for a collector!

    Cheers lads.,
Lemming is yours not ABS too? i thought it just looked like metal? I had a good mess around with KD's one but cant remember all that well, if it is metal then i mght buy one of them and just keep the silencer off this., :D lol

haha yeah i had the kiddie toy version too, with the stream of caps that went into the "magwell" :)

Have to say was messing around with this all day today, if the slide cycle was the same on all pistols.... it would be fantastic. Absolutely beautiful piece, when I first picked up I thought it felt a bit plasticy, cheap and not worthy of the 007 tag. But after giving it like...a minute... realized how much of a gorgous piece it is.

Should be noted though, as far as I know, the films silencer was short and wider then the one supplied with this, but thats only if your a stickler like me.

If Tony gets in a p99 007 version, I'll cream myself...

It does look a lovely piece. The fathers pistol was a Walther, and I plan on getting one for the collection eventually.

I actually checked that out earlier on google and wadiya know, its got the right silencer., :D

EDIT: dex and cheeky already have those P99's doc, they might not actually be movied props of the 007 one but theres no difference between the normal one and the one bond used.,

just because its there doesn't mean you can use it or abuse it

Its like the picture of me floating around, that was put as a laugh, by me, for hawks members...

yet it spiralled out of control, and i've been getting some offensive comments my way.

All of which escalated in my college the other day.

If someone doesn't want you to use a picture they took, just don't, and don't try defend it.

I'll bring mine on Saturday if you're around the shop Doc. They're replica frames of the current P99 used in the movies. The one being used isn't actually the latest version of the P99, as you'd expect, so it's bang on the money accuracy wise. The package comes with a silencer (which is accurate) and a torch (which is a proper Walther accessory but isn't something I've ever seen used in the films).
It has a few nice little touches like the serial number ending in 007 and the like. She's easily the most comfortable pistol I've ever held.

I was never really a fan of the PPK, I always saw it as a kind of womans gun....intended to be kept in her tights or something, but that was a good review, and those pictures were brilliant.
I'd consider having one now just for the ****s of it.

But if yous got the P99 in, I would be all over that **** like you wouldn't believe.

You and everyone else in the shop., :D

I heard they'll be comming in within the next week or two and i think and most of them are already spoken for., :D

Well put my name next in line.

I'll let everyone else see if they're **** or not first.

I've seen some before that were just so 'toymaster-ish'.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 11,001 ✭✭✭✭Masada

Love it thoough, got one last year :) what a blowback, everyone always underestimates it in a game, they never do twice though, however the silencer that comes with it isnt the best, the kick of the blowback managed to take it off :(......still love it though
